This is our Ibach baby grand piano made circa 1920. It is finished in a french polished black case and stands on gated legs with a double overstrung string configuration.  Double overstrung pianos give extra lengh to the bass strings making the piano sound like a large instrument while keeping it in a compact case.  This baby grand piano measures 5 foot 3 inches long and 4 foot 7 inches wide with 85 notes meaning it is considered a fairly small sized instrument.  With a medium touch and powerful tone for its size, this piano is both both aesthetically beautiful and mechanically sound.
